God the petrichor, wet stone and lilac opening of this juice tugs at my heartstrings! The most photorealistic petrichor I can think of, and that carroty ambrette smell is so gorgeous here. Lilac in perfume often comes across so wistful and heartbroken. An 11/10 for me but also my riskiest blind buy!

Support roasters that value transparent trade agreements. Support roasters who see the value in ensuring coffee bean farmers and the roasters of green bean coffee are paid living wages. Starbucks does not engage in these practices and greenwashes the process of their green bean sourcing.

Coffee, as an equatorial cultivated food, is in a highly volatile situation re: the coffee belt and climate change. Brazil (where 40% of coffee originates from) suffered massive drought this year which will impact harvests.

Btw now is a great time to patronize local third wave cafes that SB has tried to drive traffic away from. Or, if you have the liquid income, invest in a home espresso machine and never have to go out for a latte again!

No kidding if I could find a cafe job that respected my availability with my field sales job I would do it! Problem is my in person days for work are Friday-Sunday, and no business would be cool with me not being available for the 3 busiest days of the week in food/bev! 🫣
