Agnes the pig, she is a black pig with a white stripe up her snout and white rings around her eyes. Her eyes have three cartoon eyelashes and ears/hooves are hot pink. She's in a pink striped outfit. Planning my animal crossing island since I only have one more villager to get before I unlock Terraforming 🫠
Current Un-altered state of animal crossing island. Two levels high cliffside creates an upside down parabola to the north, has a cross crossing river which divides the center and southern portion of the island into its own segment. There's a small pond on the first raised level in the north to the center, and another southeast near a peninsula. I have the built (starting from top left going clockwise) town square, nook's cranny, able sisters and the museum a short distance from the airport in the south. Campsite is due west nestled at the foot of hillside. My islanders are: Carlos the sheep, Reneigh the horse, Purrl the cat, Hamlet the hamster, Ketchup the duck, Wade the penguin, Tasha the squirrel, Apple the hamster, Bubbles the hippo. There is room for one more! Same villagers, same buildings except the campsite had been moved to the first raised level and to the northeast. I will be placing whoever my final villager where the old campsite was. I've used fuchsia to mark the places I will have intentional gardens: next to able sisters, around town square, on the lower north segment to the lower left and upper right quadrant. Yellow where I have shrubs growing: behind nook's cranny, around the perimeter of town square, in front of the museum, lining the garden of able sisters. Moved both ponds. One pond I intend to make moon shaped on the lower right quadrant of the southern island, another is heart shaped on the upper most level in the northwest. Planning to build roads between the main structures and connecting bridges to inclines. Not dramatically changing the shape of the river but making sides gentler so I can place a diagonal bridge on the first raised level in the north west which will lead toward crops and pears. Upper most north west quadrant will have bamboo to farm. I will build an incline on the right side of the northwest raised section. Raised area to the east will have "wildflowers" and I will build an incline on the south side of that east section of the raised portion, to the left of a villagers home. Growing apples and cherries to the west, peaches to the south, oranges to the east, and coconuts along the beach. My dock which is truly oriented southernmost in the west will have a lighthouse slightly to the north

After a full calender year of only being able to do heart/layered heart pours, I am SO happy I'm finally slowly remembering how do pour rosettas. Ignore that I didn't center it, did not consider the handle of my mug, and crowded my design at the end, 4/10 but I'm proud of her anyway

Every perfume collector learns to read the room the hard way, and I learned I should stick to more delicate florals or a classic vanilla if I'm going to be around a lot of people. The Oud Affairs does NOT smell like barbecue btw it's like Tobacco Vanille imo

Happy belated soup day! We had curry leftovers last night (what is curry if not soup) so today I made veggie and bean soup 🍲 do not come for my knife skills she's rustic 😌
Vegetable soup in a white bowl. The soup contains onion, carrot, yellow potatoes, diced fire roasted tomatoes, chickpeas, cannellini and kidney beans and spinach! I finished it with a little nutritional yeast!

I would never gatekeep 🫶 this should keep in the refrigerator for a month (if it lasts that long hehehe)
Butterscotch simple syrup 2 cups water, divided 1 cup white sugar 1/2 cup light brown sugar Hefty pinch of sea salt 1Tbsp vanilla extract 1/2Tbsp butter extract (Olivenation makes a vegan butter extract otherwise most you'll encounter use real milk in the process) Add both sugars and 1 cup of water to a stainless steel saucepan, cook over medium high heat until all sugar is dissolved. Once dissolved, lower your stove top temperature to low/medium low depending on your range. You want to have constant small bubbles bubbling throughout the sugar mixture, you'll cook the sugar water at this stage for 13-15 minutes, swirling the saucepan rather than stirring the syrup to prevent crystals. Once the color starts to change, it can burn quickly so keep a vigilant eye. When color is darkening and the mixture begins to look thick like the water has fully evaporated out, shut off the heat. Put on oven mitts and slowly pour one cup of VERY hot water (I boiled from my kettle and let it cool slightly) into the sugar mixture, whisking constantly and being mindful of splatters/splashes. Once water is incorporated, add a pinch of sea salt and your flavor extracts! Let cool and pour into either a mason jar or a bottle
