In Elfquest, Shape shifting magic users arrive by spaceship on a new planet disguised as the elves from that world's mythology, when there is an accident that throws them back a million years into that world's primitive past. They live long enough to recover the ship and resume space travel.
I like that. A place to keep their wizard belongings while exploring the universe for new missions. Are there such stories? I’m intrigued.

Possibly never in the history of modern democracy has the "nutpicking" fallacy been used so effectively. There are a few idiots out there who have advocated for some truly insane measures, but they are a tiny minority. The GOP has turned a few cranks into an army attacking America's children.
What we’re seeing is not the pendulum swinging back toward the right after the left went too far. We’re seeing a moral panic, a society-wide assault on a phantom leftist who wants to ban Dr. Seuss and arrest you for using the wrong pronouns and put kitty litter boxes in classrooms.
