Pause throughout the day to check in with yourself. Notice when you’re caught up in thought or emotional reactivity. The more you do this, the more intuitive it becomes.

Night night everyone, please take good care of yourself.

My home Internet went kersplat, and I raced to the library for its wifi and ample table outlets for my work laptop. I worked for five hours straight.

They have been there for me all my life.

This is the rhetoric of dictators — across time & geography — that freedom (for some) must be sacrificed for security, reinforcing the power of the regime. Instead of engaging in fights about crime rates, the opposition to this madness needs to hammer on this authoritarian frame over & over again.
Stephen Miller on DC residents: "For the first time in their lives, they can use the parks, they can walk on the streets. You have people who can walk freely at night without having to worry about being robbed or mugged. They are wearing their watches again."

Masked raids are tools of fear, not freedom. Despite what this administration wants you to believe, they are not about “safety.” They are about letting ICE agents hide from accountability while carrying out inhumane acts.

After her attacks on Obama, Tulsi Gabbard’s unwavering support for Assad is the thing I’ll remember most.

She met two little girls who were burned from head to toe, and whose family was killed by Assad and Russian airstrikes.

Gabbard failed to show any empathy.

Tachiai Reader Andrew (no relation) asked a great question so I thought I would share. As I was writing, I figured more of you all are really here with the same question. Also, my answer was rather long-winded for the comment section. Question: So I’ve been curious since seeing the ads. You sumo diehards and mega fans who have been to real basho’s and tour events have found the show worthwhile attending?
