I mean I'm not a comic books reader, and I'm prolly not gonna watcha a 1.5-hour video about this, but I'm guessing at least part of the reason is that western comic books just constantly reset, reboot, and retell the same fucking stories over and over forever, they're pointless.

I feel like every VR dev needs to be forced to sit in a chair, and play the intro of Doom 2016.
