The useful AI warning for Steam script has been turned into a proper browser extension
Recently GamingOnLinux highlighted a useful browser script to give you a better warning for games on Steam using AI, and now it's even easier to use.

It's to DIE for!! 🔪🩸👑

The statue is absolutely gorgeous & is one of the best collector's edition. I'm blessed to have gotten this early! 🙏

Old UI/UX was easier to nail: one device type, one set of rules.

Now we chase “responsive” everything — one layout for all screens, all inputs, all contexts. Practices dilute, compromises pile up, and dev cycles become endless balancing acts where nobody’s truly happy.
Old computer users like me can relate to what I’m about to say, which is that UI/UX design hit its apogee maybe in the first few years of the 2000s, and it has been a disastrous downhill shit show ever since. There used to be very well-understood conventions by which to abide.

Bash alone isn’t enough for everything — but piling on load balancers, CDNs, autoscaling, k8s, Ansible, Prometheus, and half a dozen other layers doesn’t always mean better.
More often than not, it just means more overhead, more moving parts, and more tech debt in less time.
Remember when IT automation was a simpler time? A time when we just wrote a Bash or Perl script and let cron jobs handle the rest. Now, we've traded that simplicity for a vast landscape of tools, and a new kind of complexity has emerged and laughs at us.
