Denmark lost more troops per capita in the post 9/11 war on Afghanistan. Saying they “are not a good ally” because they won’t surrender their territories to the US is lunacy. We are betraying our allies to satisfy the whims of a would-be Emperor for whom the US is not enough.
They’re again advocating against Denmark when it comes to Greenland

Trump's Paper Tiger Executive Actions Targeting Anti-fascism
Yesterday, Trump signed the National Security Presidential Memorandum 7 (NSPM-7). If you’ve read the text of it, you’re probably scared. That’s the point. The document is a masterclass in intimidation...

Officials have struggled to detail the exact reasons for the A&M professor’s termination, citing a technical issue with her course description. Faculty say the move was politically motivated.

Everyone should read this. You’ll learn something about Hawai’i history and get a very clear condemnation of the lawlessness of the Roberts court.
Check out Justice Eddins’ complete repudiation of the Roberts Court here. It’s worth reading in full. It’s quite brave—and exceedingly rare—for a sitting judge to speak so candidly and scathingly about SCOTUS’ partisan contortions of law, history, and fact.

I'm still stuck on the fact that Trump ran on promoting free expression, promised to do so in his inaugural address, then immediately began abducting and imprisoning people based on their speech. And the right-wing free speech warriors are almost entirely silent! Makes you wonder about their candor.
