You can’t tell if someone is disabled just by looking at them.

There’s no such thing as the “genuinely disabled”.

You are not entitled to a person’s entire medical history just so you can decide whether to believe them or not.

People are not faking disability, most are trying to fake being well.

How do you effectively make the world accessible to people with disabilities while making sure people who don't need it don't take advantage but without denying access to people who need it?

i think the answer is "stop being a cop about it."
so how do you solve the problem without denying access to people who need it?

When I lived in NYC we’d stay up late and go watch the balloons being inflated. Was always fun trying to guess what some puddle of colors would end up being. Went to actually watch the parade only once.

Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

I've noticed the opposing team's fans only cheer when the opponents score on us. To win those fans over, I recommend we score on ourselves repeatedly; that will surely make them so happy they'll start supporting us. And I'm sure all our fans will keep cheering for us—who else is there to cheer for?
