dang i can’t believe it but i don’t think i liked frankenstein. which is crazy if only because going in i thought i was about to watch a new favorite movie. and i love gdt (his foreword to the annotated frankenstein made me cry!) but in this case i think his love of monsters worked against him

i knew october was going to be a lot of work and it was so much god damned work but it's done, now. i'm moved, i've mostly reno-ed, i'm out of the old apartment completely, the giant yard sale is done and i made enough money to feel like it was worth it, everything that didn't sell got donated

it's finally moving week! we spent this weekend powering through the last huge projects in CONDO - still a lot to do but since i can't do much while they're refinishing the new floors i just have to put my head down and pack. quickly reaching 'everything i own is garbage and should be destroyed'

update: condo acquired 🙂🏡 🙌 spent monday night and all day yesterday in full tilt reno mode - ripped up carpets, cleaned and spackled and sanded, cut in a million walls with paint, made a million trips to the hardware store, will need to make a million more. guys it’s gonna be so stinkin cute
