It's time for the pro-environmental majority to absorb the ideas that underpin wellbeing economies and play our part in scaling their adoption. My new post on Substack is a place to start.

Brilliant letter illustrating the massive ideological shift to the radical right in Westminster politics and the British media.

The entire spectrum has shifted so far to the right that Starmer's Labour government is operating miles to the right of various post-war Tory governments!

SOCIOLOGISTS. I need a study on the correlation between preferring Ronaldo to Messi and being susceptible to right-wing populism for a thesis I want to use in the pub. No funding but think it might help. Lebron over MJ and Djokovic over Federer also works.

It is way past time for the pro-environmental majority to work together to force radical change. In my latest Substack post I examine a case study of successful collective action to see if we can learn how.
Navigating collective climate action, or ‘how to build a lifeboat'

New Substack post alert: how our intensely social nature can help us turn climate concern into climate action. Read, comment, share - all that.

This guys is one of hundreds of thousands fired via DOGE and the new administration’s race to anti-scientific oligarchy. The least we can do is share the presentation he was all set to give.

What we think should work is not working. My new Substack post explores new insights into why that is and why storytelling that embraces the best of ourselves holds the key. Would love for you to read, share, and discuss.

As I watch Trump’s purge of progressive ideas - at the direct cost of the most vulnerable in society - what’s happening is finally sinking in. I’m now realising we can't fight the environmental emergency without fighting anti-democratic, nationalism.

Cognitive dissonance is at work wherever we look and looms large as we seek explanations for the attitude-behaviour gap on environmental action. But it can be turned in our favour. My new Substack post explores how...

To change behaviours on climate change, we need to change minds, and, to do that, we need to show people that positive change is already happening. My new post on Substack tries to explain why.

Bluesky is ‘X’ for the sane but short-form is not doing the job for us right now. I’m finding Substack to be a better place if you’re looking for a greater sense of community and greater substance. Try it if you haven’t already (and you feel like it).
