I never know what to write in these things! Been in DC for years now. Love travel. he/him 🏳️‍🌈
Which historian is going to write the Robert Caro-esque biography of Nancy D'Alesandro Pelosi? Shame that the title The Power Broker was used on Robert Moses. Maybe the title could be “Master of the House”. What a legend.

My ability to do “Create” on an @instagram story is gone. Create or Text used to be on the side menu above boomerang and layout. It’s now gone. I’ve tried sending Instagram a help support request but no answer. Any help would be appreciated! I want to create a story!

There’s something really messed up when the Lifetime Achievement Award for the Tony Awards doesn’t get prime time. Give Harvey Fierstein prime time. @thetonyawards.bsky.social #TonyAwards

Since I need something to do with my day. And since people really miss my “favorite song” series. I’m going to branch out. Inspired by @justmatthenry.bsky.social I’m going to pick my favorite movie from the Academy Awards Best Picture nominees every year since I was born.

Continuing on with my favorite Billboard Number One hit from every year I’ve been alive: 1975: KC and the Sunshine Band’s That’s the Way (I Like It).
Inspired by Dr. Henry, I’ll also play this game. I’m not bored at work - because hello unemployed (someone hire me please), I’m going to pick one favorite Billboard Number One hit from every year that I’ve been alive. So…1974: Elton John’s Bennie and the Jets.
I’m bored at work and have exhausted the movie alphabet game so now, every day, I’m going to pick one favorite Billboard Number One hit from every year that I’ve been alive. So…1977: ABBA ‘s Dancing Queen

Last week my @linkedin.com account was compromised. Hackers erased my profile picture, bio, work history, & 2 years of posts. After emails LinkedIn Help tells me there is no way for them to restore my profile back to what it was before the compromise. This is mind baffling to me.

Here’s the GPS approach for Runway 33 into DCA. Unless you can read this and completely understand what it says and what you’re supposed to do, let’s save the Monday morning quarterbacking on the cause of the collision. Let’s leave that for the safety investigators. Thanks.

I’ll ask the Bluesky folks. Is there a way you can star a text message to remind yourself to go back and respond to the text? Oh also I’m an Apple user so on an iPhone.

Decided to spend Inauguration Day exploring the LBJ Presidential Library. “The Great Society rests on abundance and liberty for all. It demands an end to poverty and racial injustice, to which we are totally committed in our time. But that is just the beginning.”

Need some Austin TX dinner advice.
I’m contemplating La Condesa which I know has been James Beard nominated for modern Mexican. But I’m wondering if I do something more Tex Mex in place of La Condesa. Friends have recommended Eldorado or Matt’s El Rancho.
