i find it so off-putting when you watch journalists interviewing politicians and you can tell they’re friendly, all in a big club that doesn’t serve the public’s interests. access journalism is the opposite of accountability journalism.

We should ban all private flights until the shutdown is over and air traffic control is fully staffed. And after that favor commercial flights. Private flights are mostly vanity and douchery.
SEE?!?!?!? THIS is what we need to do. There is an epidemic of private jets screwing up our airports. There is simply no room for commercial jets when we let every fat cat take up ATC time and attention with his social plumage private jet.
