my primary impression of fallout 76 was watching an official teaser on the alien update, hearing this weapon's sound effect, and having to rewind to make sure I didn't hallucinate it

Worried about your art being lumped in with the AI accusations? Well good news - you can be shit at art now - it's literally legal to be not perfect again - let those mistakes define you - that perfectionism you chased for the corpos & art directors? turns out they don't know shit!

Due to intense health issues, I will not be available for any further art commissions for the rest of the month.

I will still be working on personal creative projects, but at my own pace.

If you'd like to support me financially, I made a bundle of all my paid stuff: itch.io/s/171477/sup...

I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

I'm going to ramble about the creative choices I made for Decree for a bit, because I feel like there's a prevailing narrative in TTRPG discourse that deriving your game's mechanics from older titles implies a sort of incuriosity and lack of care about your craft, which I staunchly disagree with.

Hey @bsky.app @safety.bsky.app @support.bsky.team please unsuspend Goran immediately.

Goran is a great person, a great artist, and the whole anti-Palestine thing youre on is one of those "Ford funding Hitler" disasters you remember being shocked and dismayed by when you learned of in middle school.

"It is against the TOS to be talked into suicide by our LLM" is possibly the most evil tech bro thing I've ever read
Additionally, OpenAI argues its not liable because Raine, by using ChatGPT for self-harm, broke its terms of service

Once again, Dan absolutely killed it with every piece he's done for Decree, and I'm chomping at the bit to get them in the book.

I remade Ruin Masters' hexmap of Caldarox using ripped images from the rulebook PDF. No reference for scale so this is my best guess at 6-mile hexes. Gonna play a solo game and see what fun stuff falls out of the (many) random tables the game provides.

Nordic-inspired RPGs are like "You are a BADASS VIKING WARRIOR selected by ODIN HIMSELF"

OTOH actual Scandi RPGs are like "In this fantasy world, you are a normal guy. Life is shit, it's always fucking raining and there's a 60% chance of being clubbed to death by a troll. Ducks don't wear pants."

In the Light of a Setting Sun is a rules-lite game of bigger-than-life cowpokes on an unforgiving frontier. It it, you can play as cowherds on a long cattle drive, gunslingers solving problems in dusty border towns, or no-good outlaws on the run from a bloodthirsty sheriff. (1/?)
