The fact that so many prominent self-professed pro-democracy organizations and people are still active on X today is truly a sign of these dramatic times.

Wow! I don’t think we can call the US an ally any longer
The Trump National Security Strategy is bonkers in many ways but this objective stood out:

"Cultivating resistance to Europe’s current trajectory within European nations"

Making their strategy of supporting radical right and extremist parties explicit.

This seems incredible to read, as it could come straight out of an Orbán 2015-16 speech, but this has actually been a dominant position within the broader U.S. Right for decades. 🧵
Europeans are waking up this morning to find the new US National Security Strategy (quietly) released. And what it has to say on Europe could not be clearer. On the „stark prospect of civilizations erasure“ for example. 👇

Stop bullshitting yourselves.

The stockmarket is a representation of global wealth. As global wealth is dominated by the rich and richest it doesn’t hold any representation of the global economy. It‘s become a tool of appropriating surplus value.

POLITICO: “.. They referred to Black people as monkeys and ‘the watermelon people’ and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies .. and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.
