Found this awesome medieval combat guide
“Medieval Combat,” by Hans Talhoffer. Translated/edited by Mark Rector. “V. Shield and wooden mace. Plates 104-26. “The two combatants stand in their guards with shields and wooden maces, according to the Frankish law. God grant them good fortune.” Medieval illustration of two guys in wetsuits (??) peering smugly around their enormous shields. “The combatant on the right successfully makes a crosswise cut at his exposed opponent and chops off his hand.” Wetsuits appear cinched at the waist. The shields appear even bigger. The man on the right looks downright giddy as he prances forward to cut his opponent’s hand off. “The combatant on the right strikes from above. The combatant on the left binds the pole-axes, discards his own weapon and closes with his opponent to grapple and throw him.” A man with long curly hair is nonplussed as his opponent drops a pole-axe and goes in for the bear hug.

Today some people came to visit the family I live with, so I hid in my room. When I darted out to get some chips, a little girl zeroed in on me, started telling me about Roblox, then we played the doodle game for hours.

When I took AAA driving lessons, I learned something that has really stuck with me:

going 10 mph faster drastically increases the chances of a crash, while shaving an average of just 5 minutes off travel time.
