‼️‼️‼️ Got word of a new way the billionaire in charge of SSA is fucking over the American people!!!! TLDR: This will definitely lead to people applying for benefits losing out on money, and probably some hefty lawsuits for attorneys that know what’s up. The long version is gonna be long so let’s go.

They’re planning on building a detention center for migrants in the middle of the fetid swamps of Florida.

If you think this is something new, the first internment camp they sent me and my family to in 1942 was a barbed wire prison called Rohwer. It was located in the swamps of Arkansas.

In cases like Alex's, there are significant financial barriers to leaving the armed services. And the kicker is that trans service members under the Trump Administration are being branded with a scarlet letter, or three: "JDK." It stands for "Juliet Delta Kilo," a discharge code labelling someone a liability to national security. The designation shows up on job applications and government forms; it impacts a person's ability to get jobs with a security clearance or even immigrate, as Alex's spouse and children are doing, while Alex stays behind.

My daughter’s speech therapist went out of business because Medicaid reimbursement rates were too low. We do not have Medicaid. I’m going to keep posting this until people understand that when Medicaid gets cut *everyone* loses services.

This year, Amazon is undercutting that with a “Book Sale” on the same day—a calculated move by a company that has already put half the bookstores in the country out of business, controls over 60% of the market and sells far more books than all indie bookstores combined. The people at Amazon responsible for the timing of their "Book Sale" should be ashamed, but they are shameless.
