I know that makes me a lowest common denominator video game player, but I’m just being honest.

Sometimes just turning your brain off and blowing stuff up in an alternate reality is fun. No high art, no pretension.

Maaaaan... I miss this place.

He's going to maintain course. Throngs of people will still watch his events & those numbers will be enough for corporations to keep feeding him the spotlight. There's not nearly enough people who care how evil this guy is to reject him and let his events tank. It's not the *guy*, it's the *games*.

The guy thinks he's owed this success after allegedly fronting the cash to pay for his dog-and-pony "awards" shows for the first few years. He tap dances on the corpses of gaming media and crumbled development houses while he basks in being the de facto/unopposed hype man for video games.

I have never used a block button or parried anything in a game ever. I’ve always hated these systems. Having to learn proper timing and added mechanics just isn’t my thing— especially in my advanced age and with slower reflexes.

It’s very much a personal preference thing.
