In the latest #w3w newsletter: Imho the #crypto industry should beware 🍊's constant grifting. It could eventually create a public perception headache for *everyone,* in a way that makes the FTX fallout look like a day at the beach. In the Bahamas, if you will.

Trump II offers crypto welcome regulatory wins — and big reputational risks
Market watchdogs are working together, IPOs are back, and Polymarket is eyeing a U.S. return. But the First Family's grifting looms large.

In the latest #w3w newsletter, I think I just set the world record for most work ever put in by a pair of parentheses. 😹

This edition also amplifies some important takes by others re: perhaps the most burning question in #AI: How will it affect employment?

w3wnews.substack.com/p/ais-impact...
AI's impact on jobs won't be just about the tech
Whether new tools help or harm human workers may depend less on the software itself and more on who's in charge.

#Startups and public #tech companies alike have been raising money in surprising ways lately.

In: #Crypto treasuries and selling shares to Uncle Sam.

Out (sort of): traditional #VC funding rounds.

For fuller detail, check out the latest #w3w newsletter…

To find the news stories that are truly most important each day, rely more on human-driven curation, not algorithmic sorting. In the latest #w3w newsletter, I re-visit some tips to help news consumers do just that.

In the latest #w3w newsletter: The Wall Street Journal reports that Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan has argued this year against board-level proposals to close or sell the company’s U.S. chip plants. So why does President Trump want him ousted?

Almost all of us are the descendants of immigrants who fled persecution, or were brought to America under duress, or sought better lives for themselves and their descendants.

Politicians who stoke fear and hatred over immigration want you to forget this.

Do not.

In the latest #w3w newsletter, we consider the examples of Nvidia in #AI and #Ethereum stakers in #crypto. The common thread: They’re making money off emerging tech without leveraging themselves to the big product breakthroughs most outsiders tend to associate with each category. Hmm…
Emerging tech's toolmakers are winning.
Ethereum stakers and Nvidia's AI-fueled chip sales highlight an old lesson about market booms.

OK. I'm officially beginning to worry about the #Mets' season. In my defense, I'm kinda belated on this front compared to most fans' panic lately.

But now they just lost both ends of a doubleheader against... BALTIMORE?!?!?! Wtf...

Using the latest #w3w newsletter to do a first-half markets check, focused on #AI, #bitcoin, and other areas of #tech. It’s a day early, admittedly. But better to jump the gun a bit than get to this too late. 🙃

Big updates re: #stablecoins in the latest #w3w newsletter.

Notable that 18 Dems voted with the majority in the Senate's recent passage of the Genius Act by a 68-30 margin. Increasingly, the party seems to be revisiting its harder policy line on #crypto in the Biden era. Hmmm...
