Would it be too "20+ yrs ago" of me to wonder whether someone that repeatedly makes these sort of threats to colleagues should really be a cabinet secretary?

Do you have to be *extremely* cost conscious or even just slightly? The markup they charge vs PCs with comparable specs is insane. Plus the walled garden problem, lack of compatibility, etc. I'm on an Ubuntu PC for cost + interop with my Android phone (or whatever TF else I want to use, ever).

I dunno. He's undermining it for sure. But *destroying* it?

His uncle is basically responsible for Americans landing on the moon. A thousand years from now, if this country ceases to exist as a political entity, like Byzantium or Persia, America will be remembered for *that.*

Yeah, a WC sounds about right. So far, I guess it's also helpful that the Braves have been a hot mess, never really gotten into the race. Phillies are NY's only competition in the East, really. Let's hope that doesn't change...

I agree, but would also say that if you read NYT or Washington Post for a month, focused on a particular bill, you would *definitely* understand its major details. The prob of people being uniformed isn't just the news orgs' fault; it's also our society becoming aliterate.
