this is purely anecdotal so i don’t have real evidence for this, but it’s rare that a pedestrian under 40 yo waves me on to drive past and it makes me wonder if that has to do with a generational divide over how much older people Fucking Hate pedestrians and don’t want to inconvenience drivers
