I made some gifs that I posted on social media a while back that no one interacted with or commented on, so I assumed I was just churning out duds. But I've recently seen people reposting these gifs. People liked them enough to silently download them I guess.

Just got a new oven and to test it I decided to make use of a madeleine mould I have never used. Was a bit intimidated by all the recipes declaring themselves to be the one recipe that never fails, which insinuated that madeleines are easy to fuck up, but my very first batch turned out perfect.

A pet peeve of mine is when characters in a work of fiction are genius-level actors, able to live a consistent lie and improvise complicated details as needed, with no training or background that might explain this skill, without their mask slipping an inch until it becomes useful for the plot.

A lot of people who are fundamentally opposed to pharmaceutical companies injecting 'unfamiliar chemicals' into people's bodies when it concerns preventing children from catching deadly diseases apparently have no issue with it at all when it concerns reducing their own waistline.
