The fact that there even are queers over 30 (myself included) still baffles me. When I was growing up in 2000s, there were hardly any older queers bc Raegan killed all the gays in the 80s.
So, 20 years ago there was a noticeable gap in the demographic bc the govt had allowed a queer genocide
