Unavoidable conclusion: SCOTUS has put 1 man in America above the law & created a king. Not the first time a case has been decided wrong. The fix for democracy lies, as it did in Dred Scott, with fixing a broken decision. Hopefully this one won’t require a civil war. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/26/u...

Yesterday, the Trump admin opened up all 1.6 million acres of the Arctic National Wildlife Reguge's Coastal Plain to oil and gas drilling.

This land has never been developed. It's sacred wilderness.

I'm a @npr.org correspondent who can be reached on Signal at hansi.01 (please use a nonwork device), and here’s my latest article:
A major census test begins recruiting workers as some warn about delays
The Census Bureau is looking for temporary workers to carry out next year's major field test of the 2030 census in six states, as the national head count's advocates raise concerns about preparations.

Life during wartime. Chicago is now occupied territory.
This morning, the Trump Administration’s Department of War gave me an ultimatum: call up your troops, or we will. It is absolutely outrageous and un-American to demand a Governor send military troops within our own borders and against our will.

This is where we are.

Say it plain.

He's trying to become a dictator.

Turning the military against Americans who oppose him is a pretty sure sign, folks.
I hope it's clear to everyone now that Trump really is going for it - he's trying to become a dictator. I don't know if he'll succeed, but he's working to install himself as an autocrat unaccountable to voters. And he's weaponizing the military against Americans who oppose him as part of that effort

Trump is pledging to stand by NATO, but his Defense Department is cutting all security assistance funding for European countries, including the Baltics. And Trump is criticizing Putin, but he still hasn’t imposed any new sanctions on Russia. He even exempted Russia from his tariffs. wapo.st/4gOO40a

Tens of millions of voters have had their information run through the tool — a striking portion of the U.S. public, considering little has been made public about the tool's accuracy or data security.

They know that they’re a minority.

They can’t win a fair election.
Dems support fair, independent districting. Why don’t Republicans?

For the same reason they want to ban mail-in ballots, and make it harder to regain your voting rights, and on and on.

They have made voter suppression an art form. They want minority rule. 🇺🇸
