Where is the LGBTQ+ community’s lobbying organisation since Stonewall’s name became mud? When will we realise that protest is a dead art and that political lobbying, pursuing legal avenues and extensive fundraising to fund those things are the only way we push back against this anti-trans agenda?

…and long may it continue. Those who participated in a vicious movement against trans people will never be thanked, never be welcomed into our spaces and will never be remembered in even remotely the same light as the *actual* change-making feminists that preceded them.
In the wake of near-absolute legal victory, where the UK Supreme Court interprets a law with "common sense" and twists itself into contradictions to hand them everything they wished for, they are still miserable because they are not being thanked and apologized to for being unrepentant ghouls.

If I’m watching this film you know damn well I’m following it up with Confessions of a Shopaholic. I’m not sure why - maybe there’s something comforting about watching strong women pursue completely pointless goals for their own enjoyment, often at the expense of those closest to them.
Remember Julie & Julia, the movie that was half Julia Child biopic and half the story of a random woman being awful to her husband because she’s stressed out by her own hobby?
