Every time I go and stay at my partner Batty’s place I have to fight their 13yo cat for my spot on the bed because that’s where she likes to sleep (and she’s been here longer than I have). Woke up at one point this morning with her on my head because I was “on her pillow”

Vacation went (mostly) great!
Pros: did absolutely NOTHING this week.
Cons: fell off a paving stone while tripping and accidentally managed to drop it on my foot

Yesterday I was carrying a ladder on its side feet first and I didn’t like that so I flipped it over and caught it on my hip. It was so smooth and so cool and NO ONE saw it. I accomplished the maneuver and immediately thought, “Damn I’m so butch and so hot,” and it was a moment only for me I guess

The best thing I’ve ever done is learned how to say no without having to explain myself.
I’m a helpful person. I like to help my friends and my community when I can. I have a hard time saying no to doing jobs or favors when I know I’m able to squeeze whatever it is in my schedule.

I am so blessed in my line of work. I get to do what I love as much as I want to. I get to watch my beautiful, talented friends make art on stage. I get to see audiences react to the art that is put on stage.

Shout-out to Heidi who broke up with her shitty ex and kicked the karaoke party off with ‘Creep’ by Radiohead. She added custom lyrics about how he was creeping outside in the bushes etc and it was hilarious, unhinged, and very “fukken get him girl.”

My roommate/landlord prefers that I don’t smoke in our house which is absolutely reasonable. It just means that I have to go outside to smoke when the weather’s nice or to my car if the weather’s not.
