GPUs have a best before date. Most LLM companies are not profitable. Soon trillions more will be needed to replace aging data center components. Nvidia has been giving companies like OpenAI money to buy their own products. This is not sustainable & will eventually have far reaching economic impacts.

GPUs have a best before date. Most LLM companies are not profitable. Soon trillions more will be needed to replace aging data center components. Nvidia has been giving companies like OpenAI money to buy their own products. This is not sustainable & will eventually have far reaching economic impacts.
It is going to rain for the next eight days straight. We are officially into that time of year where VFR flying wx is very hit or miss.
I’m 40 hours shy of 500 total. I’d love to pass the milestone by the end of the year, but idk. At least I have IFR training on the calendar.

This evening I danced in a room with other humans I mostly don’t know for the first time since college (roughly 15 years). It was fun! 😁

This was so incredibly avoidable. If you haven’t gotten your MMR vax, please get it. If you have, please get your resistance checked by your doctor.
