Taildragger so named for there being a tail wheel instead of the more modern nose wheel. Example below. On the left is the more common nose gear aircraft. On the right is the Chipmunk and her little tail wheel in the grass.

This is the first GPU fatality I’ve ever had in my personal computer. I’m stupidly picky on what hardware makes its way into my builds. Overall, second fatality ever.
Not bad really, but given what the AI craze has done to the GPU market… officer help! Someone just shot my wallet!

It’s absolutely unhinged that a verified govt acct has been labelled “disinformation” while having a CLEAR example of a Hatch Act violation as its first post. Especially given that it’s USDOT!

On this day two years ago, I became the proud operator of a Piper Arrow. Since then, I’ve put 160 hrs on “Quebecca” over 126 flights. I know I’m incredibly fortunate. I’ve gotten some amazing #aviation opportunities partially because I have access to her. I can’t wait for what comes next! #avgeek

The annual YKF Runway run was on Saturday.
The left pic was in 2024. I was nearly 20 lbs heavier & could barely run 200 meters. I swore after crossing the finish line that in 2025, I would run the two mile race start to finish.
The right pic shows me accomplishing exactly that.

It is my pleasure to inform you all that Oreo has been successfully adopted into her forever home. I will miss her as she was a wonderful companion to have, but I’m thrilled she is now part of a family. May they receive all of her love, flops and sustained yell-meows! #cats

This wonderful being of love, Oreo, is headed back to the SPCA tomorrow morning. Someone is interested in adopting her. I hope they are home a lot & adore having a ball of fluff all up in their space. Yes I’llbe sad to see Oreo go, but she deserves an amazing home! #cats

As much as I adore Oreo after one week, I know I can’t keep her forever. It would be unfair to her. I’m home less often than I realized. The amount of love this girl has to offer should be given to someone who can be there for her. I’m SO fortunate to be able to foster her in the meantime. #cats

This morning, Oreo performed a vanishing act. I was cleaning & suddenly noticed she wasn’t following me around anymore. I searched high & low for 30 minutes before discovering her asleep on the shoe rack after getting shut in the front closet.

Day 3 of there being a #cat in the house.

I got my first foster #cat today! Her name is Oreo. When not lazing on top of my fridge or attempting to squeeze into places that she (very clearly) does not fit, she flops around on the floor for pets. Such a friendly being with a touch of mischief about her. Also Oreo is CRIMINALLY soft!
