If a president can illegally deport someone, conspire with that country’s leader to abandon them to human rights abuses, and face no consequences, we are in a hellish authoritarian moment. What a fucking evil, illiberal government this is.

i do not think the mainstream press is equipped or capable of covering ideological white nationalists and eugenicists as such, or even capable of noting that this is what they are. it is related to the wide belief that racism is simply a matter of manners.

A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.

what if emotional intelligence is what we really needed, instead of artificial intelligence?

many things can be true:
- it is good to see masses of people activated
- this is a good organizing opportunity for those of us who are not liberal organizations that are working hand in hand with cops
- you should not trust a liberal organization that is working hand in hand with cops

Groups like this pop up in moments of crisis & heightened political tensions & intend on sucking energy away from real movement work & back into the same failed status quo.

These people will throw you into the arms of the police & will do nothing to protect you from state violence. It's disturbing.
