The new episode of 'Return To Goodison' is now live. The true magnitude of my plight is now obvious. I have no friends and I am destined to fail.

Meanwhile, in this Football Manager fiction story, my character has no friends and is destined to fail.

There is no chance I’d have fallen in love with the Tour de France without its coverage on ITV.

When I was growing up, it was July and the summer holidays. On its final day, I’ll miss it greatly. Chapeau.

Can’t agree more with this from Tim Spiers:

Black Sabbath began with a broken body – Tony Iommi's industrial accident – it is both fitting and inspirational they end in the same way.

It's fun to read actual music writing! With, like, a structure and an overarching point that makes you think a little bit. It'll never take off.
Excellent by @fergalkinney.bsky.social on how nobody likes to talk about how late-period Oasis were appalling (also for anyone paying £100s in price-gouged tickets to see them this summer, how as a 15yo fan he went to see them and ended up drenched in bloke piss)

Some Might Not Say: What a Glut of New Oasis Books is Leaving Unwritten | The Quietus
There are a glut of new Oasis books out due to the reunion, but, asks Fergal Kinney, how is the band's shocking decline in quality dealt with?

PSG have won the Champions League, at long last, and all it took was eight managers, 14 years, £2bn in transfer fees, more in wages, one hyperinflationary spiral and the complete restricting of European football. Easy to love the team. Less so the project. observer.co.uk/news/sport/a...

The big one: I ranked the 92 stadiums in the Football League from worst to best.

Where did your favourite finish? Are you angry or just disappointed? Will I get cancelled?

Four Premier League grounds make the top 10, while the best view from a stadium in English football helps one Lancashire side place seventh
