Some cities are actively pursuing growth. Others are stuck in a state of managed decline, merely cutting costs for loud existing homeowners while doing nothing to build for the future.

Pīwakawaka (NZ Fantail) are notoriously difficult to photograph, they never sit still, add to the fact that the Black pīwakawaka (South Island) is only 4% of the population, this is the only in-focus photo I have of the Black Pīwakawaka
