Heat pumps have had high profile disinformation campaigns in the past. In the UK that @desmog.com reported on www.desmog.com/2022/02/10/g...
And other countries have it too. For three media outlets in Ireland to parallel misinform, in the same way and not online with the original press release …

This morning I read the article from @irishtimes.com and rang & wrote to them to ask for a correction. They corrected the headline, and the article author @conorpope.bsky.social wrote back to confirm that it had changed. I opened up the app this evening and it’s wrong again.

You’d also have to factor in the Irish renewable generators being curtailed to facilitate interconnection flows, the impact of minimum generation holding off renewables also. (Ie if an import disappears and you use more Irish generators, any curtailed renewables would rise a little). Very complex
