Another reason not to vote Reform UK on 1st May
Nigel Farage has told ITV News the first thing he would do as prime minister if he won a general election would be to remove the UK from the European Convention on Human Rights

That alone is good reason never to vote for Reform UK.

THIS IS WHY

Artists insist the REAL scandal is state support for genocide, not Kneecap's words

There is a clear, concerted attempt to censor and ultimately deplatform Kneecap. But really: condemn ACTUAL GENOCIDE, or shut the fuck up.

Pope Francis dedicated his life to the marginalised, displaced and dispossessed.

A rare voice for humanity, he spent his final days on this earth calling for peace.

Let his enduring legacy — of empathy, courage and kindness — inspire us to build a more humane world for all.

Alongside being the spiritual leader for millions, Pope Francis was a powerful advocate for international law and the rights of people in crisis.

As the world becomes more dangerous and less kind, we must remember his example.

From my perspective… Trump’s tariffs give the EU a *huge* opportunity…

Namely to retaliate against tariffs on EU goods with tariffs on US services- in particular, those that have political & financial power within Europe.

it can be phrased as a financial retaliation, but its value is *much* more.

It doesn’t and, in short, it won’t. If one market, even a large one, puts up barriers to trade while others, also large ones, don’t, then it’s not so much a global trade war as a unilateral trade suicide. Like water, trade will find a way around the obstacle and keep flowing.
You know what? There are not that many people in the US as a proportion of the world. Only 3 to 4%. It doesn’t have to have the role in global trade that it has had.

Asking the Business Secretary whether he would rule out any trade deal with the US which would allow the import and sale of food produced to lower standards - such as hormone-treated beef or chlorine-treated chicken.

I was hoping for a "yes or no" answer. Seems that was too much to hope for.
