I went curling yesterday while on a work trip to Toronto. 🥌
It was great fun! I thought it would be like bowling but it’s much more in depth.
Surprisingly physical, and now every part of me hurts. (to the point where I’ve been told at home to stop moaning!)

It seems like @monzo.com's phone menu doesn't recognise tones being sent from any iOS device I've tried. Phone bug? Monzo bug? Works on an Android device.

I booked an EV for a holiday in Spain. Website says "no recharge required" – the collection desk argued I must recharge it before returning it, and finally caved when I showed them the website.
I get home, and – surprise surprise – they charged me for recharging. 🤷♂️

Saying somebody “will be missed” is so passive and inauthentic, like there’s a silent “but not by me” at the end.
If it was heartfelt it would be “I will miss them” or “many of us will miss them”.
Same with saying “my apologies” instead of “I’m sorry”.
If it was heartfelt it would be “I will miss them” or “many of us will miss them”.

Spent a little time today creating a BlueSky sidebar extension for Firefox.
Still need to iron out some bugs and make it possible to interact with posts in it (it's view-only at the moment), but this could be nice 🙂
