Dear everyone who posts on social media: The correct spelling of the past tense of the word *lead* (rhymes with “read”) is *l-e-d*.
It’s NOT l-e-a-d, although the element/metal is spelled and pronounced that way.
You’ve been led down the wrong road. Thanks.

I think a Supreme Court that prioritizes freedom of religion over all other rights probably won’t go along with this.
The feds have declared "no more prayer" and are banning religious gatherings outside the ICE detention center near Chicago. The fake Christians keep getting more fake.

Excellent work by the student journalists at Indiana University! So proud they stood tough against efforts to censor them.

I love student journalists. Hell yeah.
Here's an issue from the Purdue Univ. student paper, The Exponent, dealing with the IU censorship of their student paper. Purdue put it in IU news boxes. (Purdue & IU are normally huge sports rivals.)

Not sure why this one is such a shock to me. It’s unclear from the report whether she’d been ill. If she was I didn’t know it. For me, I think, it’s that Keaton was so alive, exuberant, so crackling with energy even fairly far into old age that it somehow doesn’t seem to fit. So many iconic roles.
Terribly sad news about one of the greats. Diane Keaton has died at 79.
