As I noted to Dan, this story seems like a weird curiosity until you realize that it's 1964, in the heart of Phila's burgeoning Gayborhood, with Frank Rizzo as local police captain, and suddenly the reasons why a guy's apartment was surveilled for 5 days for "obscenity" become clearer, and sadder.

I don’t believe in holding citizens responsible for the actions of their government, but one thing that’s really been wearing on me is people saying that “everyone” hates Likud and treating Netanyahu as an aberration.
