I have a lot of opinions on this. Maybe write something up this week. Man...
Sony CFO Lin Tao has elaborated on the company's decision to take an "impairment loss" against Bungie and Destiny 2.

"...due to the changes in the competitive environment, the level of sales and user engagement have not reached the expectations we had at the time of the acquisition of Bungie."

Walking down from Piccadilly to Waterloo in pouring rain while listening to the Assassin's Creed soundtracks, and man, I've missed London.

I fucking love DnD, man. Had a duel with a dragon guy, lost, then had some of my favourite inter-character RP interactions tonight.

I love playing this disgruntled Fire Genasi who's mad as hell all the time.

Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick:

"It's always painful when we move a date. We have done so occasionally in the past, and we've never regretted it."

"...we have certain competitors that in the event where more polish was required... they chose not to slip the date, and they did so at their peril."
Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed, for the second time, to 19 November 2026.

Take Two's CEO remarked that the delay would help provide time for "a "high level of polish," and "we feel quite good about this date.”

The delay comes amid the contentious firing of dozens of workers at Rockstar Games.
Grand Theft Auto 6 Delayed For Second Time To November 2026
GTA6 has been pushed once more to 19 November 2026, in order to allow "additional time to finish the game" with a "high level of polish."

So real, no matter if you are on the side of not shooting other Arc Raiders or not.

Arc Raiders' peak concurrent is growing each day and has surpassed its free server slam test, which suggests very strong word of mouth.

Anecdotal, but I know Arc Raiders is doing well insofar as it has some of that PUBG juice, where I feel like I know someone playing it at all times of the day.

Evey once in a while, you'll read a comment on a subreddit for a live service video game that helps inform your view on what's happening.

Othertimes, you will read a post from a Battlefield player saying he should be allowed to sue EA because they banned XP Farms in Battlefield Portal.

I finally finished book one of @worldsbeyondnumber.bsky.social. Simply, it's one of my favourite pieces of fiction I've interacted with in a few years. Its use of the form and the richness of character from a DnD game is unmatched. It is the 'great work' of DnD fiction in my opinion. Beautiful.

He's not wrong, to be honest. I think Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 are often a bit of a blindspot not just for the press, but for larger gaming communities too.

The CS2 Skin market is an insane thing that would be torn apart in most other games, but Valve seems to get a lot of leeway.

I reached out to The White House and asked about its use of AI-generated Halo imagery. White House Deputy Press Secretary Kush Desai just responded to me, and it's insane.

With several new games starring Japan's secret warriors, 2025 has become 'Year of the Ninja.' But what continues to make them so fascinating?

We talk to ninjutsu practitioners, the devs of Ninja Gaiden 4, Ragebound, and AC: Shadows, and even the International Ninja Research Centre to find out.

Was in some of the worst pain I can remember yesterday. I'd like to suggest some patch notes to god on Teeth, both removing wisdom teeth from the roster and nerfing their damage on pain receptors. This current meta sucks.
