Between the fires and these protests, I hope this year teaches everyone that most of the shit talking you hear about California and more specifically, LA, comes from racists and gentrifying transplants. Most people love living here and would do anything to protect it.

No this was absolutely not the case, it was a handful of people in like a discord egging on a dude to write a letter exposing his ex and the whipped up more over time by a few known quantities but it was not the Russians. My lord
Yeah my secret dumb theory that I have absolutely zero evidence for, but think is true, was that gamergate was a test run for the Russians for 2016. To see if they could manipulate people on social media on a group that the government wouldn't really pay any attention to.
