Does anyone have much success with poinsettias at Christmas time? For us, they tend to die off one leaf at a time all the while we have them. I think it got thirsty yesterday and now is like this despite watering it. I’m alright at plants, but these are beyond me. Cannot.

When my dog sees one of us deviate from the nighttime routine, he does something naughty to entertain himself. Tonight he’s had a pillow off the bed and made off down the stairs with it 😅😂 2.5 years and it never gets old for him!

I’ve also set up new iPads for the resident boomers today. That’s fun. They need different chargers and fingerprint recognition is somewhere new. We’re still reeling from the new TV we’ve had for a month as well, I dread to think how the next few months will pan out.

Poor dog’s been sick this afternoon. So he had a special dinner. He bloody loves poorly dinner (white fish/sweet potato/pumpkin). Sadly he doesn’t get fed loads, so will probably wake up early, ravenous.

My amaryllis has been slow to emerge from its slumber. So in order to bring some joy in the darker days, I’ve bought a new one which should bloom in time for Christmas!

Thankfully, this week, I’m working a 2 day week. Got hospital Wednesday and holiday Thursday. I’m starting the week exhausted. Newest IOS keeps telling me I had 99/100% sleeps and all I think is absolutely not.

It’s the Tyne & Wear derby today. They were queued outside of the stack on the seafront at 9:30 this morning. I’m pretty sure it’ll be a very messy affair, regardless of the result. We are staying home now, early big walk, local strolling only for the rest of the day.

There seems to be a social media subliminal campaign to send me to Barcelona. As if I needed it! I’ve been 3 times and would happily ship myself over if not for the pup. Alas no more Barcelona Januaries for me any time soon. I do highly recommend it though.

Beautiful Christmas tree! We’ve still not dressed it because look at how gorgeous it is! A tree! Indoors! Love it. Today we shall add lights. Love having a real tree. First time in my life. It does spark joy!

I’m not the best at propagating hydrangeas. Never have much luck. These have been cut & rooting since maybe early September. Anyone know what’s going wrong? They’re usually on the windowsill in an east facing window. #plantsky

The poorly baby is a bit sad, so I’ve put Lion King back on for him to finish watching. Since we got the new tv, he’s developed much more interest in watching it! ❤️

Was woken by my boy being sick. Poor love was dry heaving for about 5 whole minutes after he was sick too. Something tells me he’s not done yet. 😢
