Was bent over trying to undress the pup and my pj trousers ripped at the bum like some sort of slapstick comedy! I think I’m retiring them, they’re actually quite old. My WFH wardrobe has just shrunk, lol.

My dog has taken a keen interest in big living room TV lately, so during his playtime I put Mr Bean’s Holiday on for him. I expected it to be awful, we’ve been in hysterics for a fair part of it. How lovely!

Fuck Asda. Did an online order. 10 mins before it’s due, cancellation text & email sent. So bloody inconvenient and they think it’s ok because we’ve not been charged!

Yesterday I met an 8 month old Irish wolfhound in the park! She towered over my boy and her head came up to my waist. But even still, such a gentle girl. She got excited and wanted to play with my boy. Not ideal for her mum! I do so love a big dog!

Honest question: why are the COP summits continuing? They don’t want to change, but they’re adding cost & massive emissions in attending. Cut the middle man & just schedule a teams call.

Well, just been for the breast exam. First ever. Less invasive than the dodgy Ayurvedic massage I got in India! Haha. 2 week rule, she liked them so much she’s invited a specialist to have a go too!

Well, my week at work is over. Email from a higher up thanking me for my concern, assuring me all is as should be, but they’re investigating it anyway (?!) and could I go through all their procedures with a fine tooth comb and let them know what’s wrong with it!

Bit surprised at Amazon on this one. No knife check, it’s a Stanley knife blade, just popped through the letterbox. Plus ça change.

The only problem with the warmth of this house is the garage. The bedroom above it is cold. The cold comes in via the garage (upgraded to thermal door) and the cold creeps up through the floor. I’m not sure if we can insulate that space.

Love the new house in this weather though. Got a 7.5 tog duvet on my bed, the radiator is turned off in this room and I’m toasty. I’d have been cold & miserable in the old house.

We have sort of snow. My mini greenhouse (plastic) has also been lifted by wind, so I guess when I get up, I’ll be trying to pop it back down to keep the plants warm. What a faff. Also: not really snow here, so no white adventures for my boy who’s still never seen snow! ⛄️

Ordered a plastic greenhouse for convenience. Thought it would help minimise the cold for the not entirely winter hardy plants. It had a million pieces and is too big to be built indoors & taken out! Have instead strung it sans frame to the fence for today. Better than nothing

Semi victory at work- the employer sees (most of it) the same way I do. What’s to be done? Well, that’s to be decided another day. 5 hours at work & 3.5 were an IT outage today 😅
