RIP Graham Greene. Every time he popped up on screen when I was a kid, my mom would excitedly point him out for being an actual Native on the screen. Able to be deadly serious and infinitely hilarious (even in smaller roles like Last of Us), he ate up the screen. Nʌki’wah brother.

Permits to take water out of the ecosystem should not be permanent nor transferable.
Every change to water consumption should be scrutinized given what a precious resource it is.
And $500 for a million cubic litres of water is laughable.
Companies like Nestle make bank out of water extraction.

Water is necessary for life. No private companies should be able to take it without environmental assessments and consulting with Indigenous nations and the public. No company should inherit water rights.
