for decades, the nascent field of game design has been wrapped up in one question. how can we make the player feel true power? how can we truly question their morals? this is why for my newest game, i have put myself in a hydraulic press that will descend 1 cm every time a player beats a boss

Every game dev knows about coyote time and jump buffering for platformers but mantling is still so underrated... There's so much potential in that mechanic... I think it should be placed alongside the double jump in the platformer mechanics basic toolbox

Chimera Nursery is a world that's been developing in my mind for a long time now. I've wanted to be secretive about it since I wouldn't say it's "ready" yet but I don't know how much more time I can spend without using the idea in some way. Might as well let everyone watch it develop further.
