Spotted Hyena. This is a Female Spotted Hyena. They are considered excellent mothers, fiercely protective, and highly dedicated to their offspring. They invest more energy per cub than most other large carnivores. Awesome photo shared from Zimbabwe by Ann at Ann Warner Wildlife Photography. #hyena

Nigel Farage used an LBC appearance in September to accuse the Bank of England of being “dinosaurs” for seeking to place restrictions on the use of Stablecoins by crypto firms like Tether.

He did not declare that Reform had just received a £9 million donation from one of its biggest investors

England’s most important nature sites are being failed.❌

Protected sites can and should be driving nature’s recovery.

But today’s OEP report exposes the real problem: years of weak delivery, underfunding and political drift have left them unable to do the job the law intended.

Really bad news. And completely irresponsible given where we are.
Can’t decide who this is worse for, the EU or the UK. But the real looser, of course, is European defence. So all of us.

So sorry for your loss.
Like you, what I mostly want for Christmas this year is for it to be over.
It’s very sad that I lost dad this year but I’m glad that the big hoopla about Christmas doesn’t have to happen this year. The older I get the more the expectation and excess food seems unpalatable. It’s only my view. I get Christmas is a lovely time for so many other people & glad you enjoy it

Golden rule:
If you save 50% on something you were planning to buy anyway, you've saved 50% of the expenditure. Good deal.
If you buy something you weren't already planning to buy because it's cheap, you've lost 100% of the expenditure. You've been suckered.
It’s not a great deal if you don’t need it. And especially this year, others really need support. So for all of us who have enough, let’s refuse to get sucked into the holiday shopping frenzy and share instead of shop. We don’t need more stuff, we need communities where all our neighbors are safe.

Reform UK Party Ltd spent £700,000 on a 2-page spread — one page being just an image of Farage and the other a letter, meaning he spent £350,000 on pictures of himself.

The average UK house price is £272,000.

Also, the ‘full English’ is badly photoshopped on — it's tiny!

Kemi Badenock should check her facts. The early Church was the conduit for providing and channeling welfare to the poor. And no, I'm not a Christian or anything else.
So much for love thy neighbour...

Badenoch is wrong.
In late Roman and early Christian Europe - the social and civil/military structures morphed from one to the other - the elites of state/church earned status or religious credit by giving help to the poor. Ask @profaliceroberts.bsky.social
