Re-adenylation by TENT5A enhances efficacy of SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccines - Nature
Upon intramuscular administration, COVID-19 mRNA vaccines are primarily taken up by macrophages, in which the cellular machinery extends their poly(A) tails, thereby increasing mRNA stability and translation, providing an explanation for the efficacy of these vaccines.

My first (and probably the last), first-author @nature.com paper formally accepted. Huge effort of all people involved, mostly from the Laboratory of RNA Biology, IIMCB in Warsaw (all authors are from Polish institutions!). More details when the manuscript will be in press.

This is insane... Almost 1.5 months waiting for the #review after major #revision. I know everyone is busy and #reviewers are not paid. But I've always been struggling to review on time. Unfortunately, this year there will be no gift for Christmas.
