I care that the art I engage with is made by humans, regardless of how "good" the tech may become, that is the underlying contention, that is important to me and cannot be bargained away. I'm sick of hearing about compromise this and middle ground that, do you want to hear my compromise?

Also I got really sad when I was reading Allura mentions in my own fic. Like. Sheith and shipping and Shiro disasters aside, what they did to some of the other characters (Lotor too) was off the charts horrible.

I'm clicking around on my tv trying to find things to watch, and a part of me thought "oh vld would be fun" but it's just so tainted by the fandom now. I haven't rewatched any of it since that horrible night when I stayed up til 6 AM watching S8. I really mix when fandom was more good than bad

Yeah that season was just bad. It's wild how split opinions seem to be...a lot of people on reddit seem to have truly hated Henry Cavill and are fawning all over Liam. But the writing for this season was........not great, regardless of who was playing Geralt. #TheWitcher

I have strong (negative) opinions about Geralt/Yennefer and the "destiny" that was a manipulated connection from a wish...but did they REALLY just transition straight from Yennefer saying "Geralt, your father figure just died in battle" to a full blown graphic sex scene? Really? Really.

in general wtf is this episode. The whole thing is like some weird fever dream. i mean, i DID want more of Jaskier singing, but at what cost. all of this is wildly weird

tbh the best part of this season so far is Laurence Fishburne as a gentleman vampire. He feels like he's in an entirely different (but better) show.

This Geraskier scene just makes me miss the old seasons. Of course Jaskier's pouring his heart out and Geralt's focused on the random girl who took up a bunch of screentime with terrrrrrrible acting. Beata? who tf

Ciri's action scenes are....distractingly bad. She must not be doing her own stunts, but it looks more like CGI than a real person
