I care that the art I engage with is made by humans, regardless of how "good" the tech may become, that is the underlying contention, that is important to me and cannot be bargained away. I'm sick of hearing about compromise this and middle ground that, do you want to hear my compromise?

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

最大の効果発揮するのはこういう場合かもしれない。夕方とか夜とか表現するために乗算使うと全体的に暗くなりすぎて調整が難しいけれど、ハードライトレイヤーだと夕焼けの赤みを残したままとか夜の青みを残したままとかで影作れる。そこに光表現も同時に描ける。

ハードライトレイヤーで陰影。パンケーキと髪の毛の箇所でいくつかレイヤー数が必要になるところがたった1枚で済むのは確かに効率がいいかもしれない。この絵だとハードライトレイヤーである必要性低いからあれなんですが。

sometimes when I'm unwinding in bed before sleep i read parts of my own fics instead of watching anime (the usual method). last night for some reason I was reading my sheith fic, and it made me feel so sad about the days when I really, really loved that show and was SO invested in all the characters

Trying the new season of #TheWitcher and this is the stupidest, most heavyhanded way to handle the actor change. "reading a book about Geralt in the future"with Liam in a bunch of redone scenes. And soooooo much yennefer kissing? Which is the worst part of the story.

To continue my binge-watching of shows that ended ages ago...I've been (re)watching #ModernFamily, and I'm about to hit the quitting point on this one too. It's one of the shows where I accidentally stopped watching back in the day and then never caught up, but it got worse as it went on anyway
