Started the morning off right with a Skype a Scientist session with 2 3rd grade classes who just read a book about giant squid. Getting bombarded with squid questions first thing in the morning is truly the best start to the day, highly recommend.

Ubuntu extended their LTS (paid) support to 15 years, meaning that you could support a Ubuntu version from 2014. Ubuntu 24.04 would have support til 2039.

I think at this point we have fairly well established that reefs (like all of us) will do a little bit better if they need to deal with a few less stress factors hitting them at once. This time, if we let them breath (prevent/remove oxygen stress). 🧪🌊

It’s baby octopus season 🐙🦑
Saw this little guy last night with the Salish Sea School in Anacortes, WA as part of their free community dock walk I volunteer as an interpreter for.
We can tell it is a giant pacific octopus from the single line of chromatophores on each arm.

Ich kann daher das Argument, die Klimaschutz-Community hätte Gefahren übertrieben, in keiner Weise nachvollziehen. Dieses global aufkeimende Gefühl "jaja, jetzt muss aber auch wieder mal Schluss sein, lasst und über andere Dinge diskutieren" ist völlig irrational.
