The pesticides allowed in organic farming are more toxic (because they are less targeted), used in greater amounts (cannot be "unnaturally" altered to be more effective in smaller quantities), and are excluded from having to report residue.

The USDA pesticide residue report should give you confidence that finished foods are safe. Ironically, pesticides used in organic farming are excluded.
