"the world's idea machine" lol

America, you have spoken loud and clear: You do not like AI. But what if AI is the way to restart the world’s idea machine?
We’re running out of good ideas. AI might be how we find new ones.
What if the best use of AI is restarting the world’s idea machine?

Hi @isanchezprado.bsky.social. Would it be ok if I asked for a literary recommendation here?

Read The Circle, by Dave Eggers. Some interesting ideas, esp. the cult-like organization and the main character's struggle with its demands. However, its constant reminders of the Circle's pervasive influence and rationalization, obvious symbolism, and a simple protagonist hold it back.

I think nobody expected Team Ninja to deliver on a narrative. Also, the trailer full of "chaos' and the corny cutscenes were fun, but made it hard to take it seriously.
They did a decent job; especially this one point where gameplay and story come together and really hit the feels, but no spoilers.
I guess it frustrates me because the Internet Decided that it was a bad and poorly written game only valid to be enjoyed ironically as a meme and

gods that's such a surface read of what they're doing here

You gotta be a theater kid to properly understand camp, I guess, but if you get it? Fuck yea!

read In the Skin of a Lion again. A favorite, but I worried it would not hold up to what I made it up to be. Its structure of interconnected stories, characters (one literally) swinging between love and loss along history, takes the cliché "ebb and flow" and builds a masterpiece out of it.

First post here; seems fitting that it's a book, and that it's this one.

I haven't had the time to play this, not even the demo. But after reading this review, this game sits at the top of my to-do list.
Metaphor is my game of the year. i asked director Hashino a very specific question.

He replied, “To be honest, you asked a question that really hits the core. I’ve done many interviews, and I haven’t had a question like this.”

Review | The year’s smartest game asks: Is civil democracy just a fantasy?
“Metaphor: ReFantazio” is the most audacious, exciting video game story of the year as it chronicles the birth of democracy.

New dishwasher installed today. Time to get a drink, sit back and spare a few hours for @techconnectify.bsky.social and learn how to *actually* use it.

I knew there were #bannedbooks, but is the list getting bigger? I just see like every good book posted with this tag today.

I'm not saying it can't be done, but how much of that can really leave anything meaningful behind? I can't imagine trying to keep up with this much information.
And just like that I have read 184 books for this year
