Scientifically speaking it is an amazing discovery that can do 'magical' things. Medically speaking it has the power to drastically improve outcomes.

How it is being monetized by capitalism however is mostly bad.

People want identity shortcuts for "who is worth listening to" and "which ideas are correct" and I implore you all to abandon that impulse, because that's not the world we live in.

Listen to the marginalized because our voices are erased, but also... think. Judge by word and deed.

There's no such thing as "bad grammar", how you feel about a particular way of speaking are a direct reflection of how you feel about the people you associate that way of speaking with.

Obviously this is a broken system unbothered by most people’s inability to navigate it, and the first priority ought to be overthrowing it. My point is only that, in the meantime, even people who think they’re doing okay financially are only one catastrophe away from the streets.
