Elixir of Life ch. 1

She doesn't really have any ambitions, since surviving is enough, and don't really need those if you're not an Alpha anyway. And Archie is not an Alpha, nor an Omega. She is a Beta which, politically, does not exist. But something is coming to change all that; a treatment so powerful it can upend the status quo for good. People are calling it the Elixir of Life. It's not long before Archie finds herself embroiled in a murder, a mystery, and a mysterious stranger that makes her lower decks wetter than an overflowing bilge-- but you know if the bilge had great stuff in it and not bilge stuff. But also kind sticky? But in a good way? Like that. Can Archie solve the mystery, solve murder, get the stranger and save the day? Or will she just be another disappearance in the small and mysterious city?
